Your best bet is to look up the Hodgdon website and work from thier data.
If you really want to load hotter than plain jane .38 spec, you may want to go with an even slower powder than Universal. Trying to load too hot with a faster powder can be scary.

i've got 3 books(lee,speer and hornady) and checked the hornady site.
the closest is 148 gr. hollow bullet wadcutter.if i go with this should i add a grain to the load in .38 spl. since the bullet is 142-143 gr.?(6 grains lighter than their wadcutter load)
any good reloading mags out there?i know higginson was using a magazine to look up some loads fo me...
