.38/.357 What Is Best Red Dot or Reflex

Just rec'd a S&W .38/357 and want to put a scope on it - either red dot or reflex sight. What scope is setup to take the kick of this pistol. I have a Lucid on a .22 wheelgun and really like it. Will it stand up to the kick? Not looking for low end or cheap but also don't want to break the bank. Suggestions, recommendations.

It will come down to what you want to use. Both can handle the recoil of the 357
