Hey guys, trying to find a source of 38-55 brass. I only have a few boxes of factory ammo left, and while I'm recycling the brass on those, this ammo seems hard to come by, is somewhat pricey if you can find it. I've found pretty much everything I need for doing cast bullets for this round, but I'd like to ramp up my collection of brass. Any leads on sources?

It shows up from time to time, but can be hard to locate.
If you are in a real pinch, 375 Winchester brass works just fine, just a tad shorter.
Then again, 375 Winchester brass is not always plentiful either, lol.
I have a bit laid in, so not looking at present.

Bullet Barn in BC - has Starline 38-55 in stock. Thats where I get all my 38-55 and 45-70 lead and brass.
I loaded a few boxes of 38-55 recently and used some old 30-30 Dominion brass. . Sizing up the brass took a few go-rounds till I figured it out but once I had the hang of it, went easy.. The cartridge ends up a tad shorter but looks and works just fine.

I've used .30-30 or .32 Special brass for years. Works just fine!
