I took my Ron Smith Marlin 336 re-bore for a test drive today formerly a 30-30 now a 38-55 1-16" 1/2 mag carbine 20" pre- crossbolt safety. With 32 gr of IMR 3031/Starline long brass /Fed LRP and a 273 gr Jet Bullets .379 FN GC it put 3 in one inch at 100 yards with a 4x Leupold on top.Hope to baptize it on a cow moose and or a couple mule deer .........tags pending this fall.Will bring the chrony next trip out.
