Is there anyone in eastern ontario that reloads 38-55 with .378 to .380 lead bullets? I just picked up a 93 marlin with a oversize bore and as I don't reload anymore I am hoping to find someone close that would load some up for me as I would like to use it for deer hunting this year. If there is someone, just let me know how much a box of twenty would cost and I will get back to you and I will pick it up. Thanks for any help.

Thats too bad , I live in NS. and cast 250 grainers(linotype/pure lead/tin mix) , and size to .378 for my winchester, very Accurate. A good choice for a brush buster, good luck finding the ammo. May want to check local ranges, there is always a hard core bullet casting gunnut around.

M.T. Chambers makes 4 diff. 38/55 bullets up to .380 including Paper Patch bullets, you would have to reload them, or get someone else to. Using a bullet that is undersized in this cal. can be frustrating as most bullets are only .376 to .378!
