One of the forum sponsors has .38 special 125 gr EC at a pretty good price. Now for the DQOTD...What does "EC" stand for? I've seen LRN, SWC, FMJ.TMJ.HBWC etc etc but don't think I've ever seen EC before. Google wasn't much help either.

Ejectable Cartridge. It's a bullet designed for use in semi auto's. That could be true but I just made it up right now so I doubt it.

Email the retailer maybe?
Google just showed Evansville Chrysler which is a headstamp from some WW2 ammo as it was a Crysler plant converted to ammo production.

I assume this is the stuff he is talking about.

Confirming what you already know. It's Centaure in Laval. They have an outstanding reputation as a reloader so buy with confidence. I talked to the owner just before Christmas and he said they'd pulled 38 out of production. Demand was just to high for 9 and 40 that they couldn't justify taking a machine offline to reset to a different caliber. Thus, grab all you can now, might be your only chance for a long time.

I've bought Centaure before in 9 and .40S&W...seems like very good quality stuff.

.38 special is really tough to find at a decent price these days. I've used the Wolf Bullets 158 SWC and HBWC but SFRC has been out for a couple of months and I snagged the last of Ammosupply.ca's stock in January.

May be a good time to think about reloading for it.. HBWC's are just fun to shoot
