When reloading target loads for my revolvers I use win 231 powder.
Often the brass case comes out of the cylinders quite dirty all around.
Is this caused by too little pressure not getting the brass to expand? More pressure therefore more expansion of the case and the soot goes out the barrel.
My 1st 500 of winchester white box (win clean) came out of the cylinders quite clean.
As you saw from my other post I have a problem with dirty media.
