is it possible for a .384 bolt face with a sako trigger to be opened up to a .473 bolt face. pictures will be posted of the bolt in question but my main concern is that the extractor cut with a sako type extractor will leave to much case head unsupported.

The main concern is that the extractor will not be located correctly for the larger head diameter. There would be more involved than just opening up the face.

If Sako uses the same bolts for all non-magnum chamberings, there will be lots of meat. In this case I'd just buy another bolt and try to sell that one.

It's nearly impossible to just "buy a bolt". I have a regular savage that needs one, and the only source is to send it back to the factory to have one fitted. Lots of options in the USA, but very few up here.

This bolt is a Stiller bolt and it's hard to buy just a bolt indeed. The extracted would need to be shimmed to be in the right spot and I'm not worried about that I'm worried about unsupported casehead

If you load so hot to cause the brass to flow into that small unsupported area you will have other problems... but shimming the extractor up so a case will feed under it and possibly 'sharpening' or reshaping the extractor or even replacing the extractor will be needed.
