38spl /357 mag uberti revolver

i thinking of one of these hand guns im doing my own reloading i no the 38 spl takes the small pistol primers but not sure of the 357 mag is it sm or large ? and is it a reg primer or magnum primer? any help would be great !!!!!! thanks hound13!!!!!!!

Yes, small primer. Mag ones will get more consistent results but regular primers will work. (with testing, all my data is for mag primers.)

The need for a magnum primer in your .357 will depend on the powder, not the cartridge. Some powders that are good in the .357, such as 2400, do not require a magnum primer for best results. Others, the magnum primer is recommended. A loading manual is your friend.
