Probably about 35,000, give or take a few thousand... But that is the nature of any internet forum, especially one that requires an active membership to be able to view posts.

How does thehighroad.org manage so many people, they have no sponsors and there are no real obvious way of how they're alive

I was soooo glad when I found out I wasn't the only one about two years ago.
Now I spend so much time here, I don't know what I would do without it.

lets rethink the numbers and actually count active members who have at least posted....

there are only 6500 people who have posted 10 or more posts.....less then 8k who have posted more then 2 posts.

frankly I believe they keep the number artificially high so they can garner more revenue re: sponsers....

if they deleted all the accounts with zero posts, or accounts that have not posted in the last 2 years I believe you would see a far different number.

evn 6500 is a good number though, thats a lot ofpeople for a small country.
