3rd gen 1860 colt cylinder compatibility

I have a 3rd gen 1990s manufactured colt 1860 with a gold plated cylinder. I would like to fire the revolver but I would like to get a separate cylinder (uberti) so I dont damage the gold plating. Would it fit and function? Thanks in advance.

I have two Unerti 1860’s separated by serial numbers of about 20000. Cylinders won’t swap out without some work. One is shorter and base pin holes are different size. It’s a crap shoot Might fit might not.
