So? Is sticking straight pins into a Fallow Deer head voodoo or acupuncture?

over paranoia of shrink being such a newbie im not familiar with how much they will shrink, if much, an when ya stand back ya dont see the pin holes once the fur is over it, sure its not taxidermy show spec, but im cool with huntin bush deer an havin bush deer on my walls :)

fyi- the pins come out after i know the glue under the hide is dry, 2 weeks. to be sure :D

Those all look awesome! Keep up the great work! Cheers, Mark

cheers bro- happy days!

im tackling sambar soon, so think the difference bwteen whitetail an elks, just a courser animal in general! eek. maybe friday il wrap my first sambar, let yas know (like the one on very R of pic)

What do you guys prefer with Ears n positioning?

these forms are "alert" forms, but i put the ears way more , in my opinion , natural positioned. the way i did them i know my wrong doings, or lack of doings but il work on that, the solo fallow is full alert, a professional did it, but i felt its too alert with wide open spotlight eyes!? eyes r hard, but ears, they seem hard ish to get forward, but note the white an closer fallow have turned an different ears?

thoughts or opinions on what u like

Just pulling your leg chum!

The man who loads his own ammo, stalks his own deer, drags his own deer off the mountain, eats his own deer and then hangs its hide on his own wall is a man of many many more talents than myself. Good on you!
