3x-9x with extra windage

Got a rifle with a botched mount install. Scope mounted has 60 inches of windage and elevation, still several inches short. Outside of getting into shimming base is the a scope out there with at least 72 inches of travel on the windage and elevation?

Not an option really. Parker Hale side mount and rings on a PH NO.1 mk3.

The Leupold 1.5-5x has 110 MOA adjustment range. I had to use this scope on my 9.3mm to fix a similar problem. You may have to give up some magnification in exchange for getting the rifle zeroed.

Thanks for the info. I thought there were a couple other older scopes that had 80 inches of adjustment but info is hard to come by.

If the problem just the windage isn't sufficient? Or is it the elevation that is insufficient? Personally, I would try to use shims on the base, rather than buying a new scope.

I could put a shim under the rear of the mount but windage is still a couple moa off to the left. I don't think I can gain there unless I shave the sidemount base.

You can use the burris rings and turn the inserts sideways. - dan

dan belisle: It would be great to know if that works - Burris makes rings will fit onto a Parker Hale Side mount (like A27) rail? Or must one install a Picatinny / Weaver rail on the PH A27 side mount, then use the Burris rings??

They make rings that fit on a Leupold style rail (or Redfield if you prefer), and Weaver styles. - dan

The Parker Hale base and rings though a good setup havent been produced for years so no one bothers to make anything compatible with them AFAIK. Shimmed base .020 on rear hole, seems to bring elevation more in line. Thanks for the suggestions.
