4 Gun Match at Sharon Gun Club

Monday August 7th, 9:30 12 noon, 2:30, (9:30 is full)

1. Sniper, 2. Carbine, 3 Shotgun, 4, Pistol

Stage 1= 12 rds. Prone sniper @ 100yds. 223 Rem min caliber,bring your own mat, bi-pod, and rear rest.
Stage 2,= Carbine min 223 Rem, 24 rds. no slings, Shotgun 12 guage 20 rds # 7.5 or #8 lead shot, 4 slugs, no slings. Pistol 9mm min, caliber, 24 rds. must have "real holster" that can hang on to your gun while you run and shoot.
Scoring = Stage 1, points/ par time. Stage 2, points / time. In other words, IPSC hit factor scoring. No cover while shooting or reloading etc, This is an IPSC style match.

Gots questions;
I see some of the distances what about times on each stage and how is scoring being done time or accuracy or combination? what targets do you shoot? and what is considered a carbine?

There are two stages.

The Sniper stage is PAR time. Small targets so you need MOA at 100 yards. After every 2 shots you have to do a short run to get the heart and lungs going - 12 shots in total. Max 10 points per shot. Scoring: points divided by the PAR time.

Stage two is 3 guns together in one stage - IPSC scoring: points divided by time.

Your equipment sounds good to go if you have enough shotgun mags.
