4 round Pmag

So a while back I got a pmag in a deal off the EE. I never tried it untill now as ive been waiting on an att but it only holds 4 rounds! Was a member with a good rating, the rivet is big, ugly and a bad grinding job as well (I could care less about the look if it worked well) so... seeing as its pinned I cant take it apart. Should I drill the rivet and modify the follower then re rivet? Or what options do I really have?

Sorry. You could do that and if it is impossible block internally. Sucks, but I've bought 4 shot mags and had to deal with it.

I sold some a couple of years ago and they were pinned with a rivet that was too long and it prevented the 5th round from going in.
Drill out the rivet and replace it with one the same diameter (hopefully only 1/8")but only 3/8" long and see if this fixes the problem.
While you have the rivet drilled out you might as well countersink the hole, be careful and go slow and to satisfy all the legal beagles on here be sure to disassemble the mag before drilling out the rivet.
If this doesn't work then you can modify the follower to hold 5.

Yeah, just re-rivit or take a bit off the bottom of the follower.

thanks on the tip about rivet length. the ones in it look like 3/16

due to it being a large rivet, i think you may be right about trimming the follower. i'll try it as soon as i can find the right size rivet and report back!
