I got a pair of the heavy HH full body long johns. I bought them for work, but have used them sitting out in the middle of the Prarie in -30. Of course with a full set of winter hunting bibs and jackets. Plus mitts. And I was warm the whole time. You can also check out Frontier Firearms. They have a ton of surplus gear on there. Some good cold weather gear for a good price. And they have those surplus leather cold weather mitts. Never tried them, but tried a pair on at a gun show, and they sure felt like they would be good. Especially with light merino wool gloves underneath. But again, those thick HH full body long johns are the cats ass. And they are also great for wicking away any moisture if you sweat. We'll just a few ideas. But have fun, sounds like a hell of a good time.
