.40 or .10mm dies to load 10mm?

I heard you can load 10mm with .40 dies. (and of course the .40s&w)

So is there a reason to get a 10mm dies instead? or should I just get .40 and be able to load both?

Mine say .40/10mm on the dies. And i am about to start loading my first 10mm rounds today.

.40s&w is a little brother of 10mm, dies are the same.

I need lee. so they are actually the same?? I know my lee my says 9x19 /9x21

My Lee .40 S&W dies work fine for 10mm (I don't load .40).

Some 10mm seat or crimp dies might not screw in far enough to work with the shorter .40, but I don't know for a fact that any are actually like this.

All my sets are labelled ".40/10mm". I don't see why you couldn't load 10mm with .40 dies though.
