I'll be trying 231 in my next loading session. I've heard good things about that powder also.

Win 231 was my go to powder for .40 S&W for years, until I ran out. I'm using WSF at the moment only because that's what I have in my bunker.

Win 231 is a bit dirty and I had to load based on older books (I had to push the max load in current books a little too) in order to make IPSC Major power factor. If you want to shoot Major in IPSC, there are other powders out there besides 231 that'll give you more room to work with and not exceed the max recommended loads.
