Hub sports in Abbotsford BC has the Ranger SXT in .40 S&W in stock. $29.95 a box.

165 gr JHP.

They also have some winchester .45 ACP 230gr JHP ammo.

Just in case anyone's interested. I bought a couple of boxes of each to try it out.

The .45 is NOT SXT. Just regular Winchester 230 gr JHP labeled "Personal Protection".
And yes, 50 rds per box in both calibers. Can't remember what I payed for the .45 as I scraped the price tag off in order to stave off feelings of guilt for buying expensive ammo.

Look at the end of the box. There will be a small product code on the bottom right of the side flap. The OP reported to have Ranger LE 165gr ammo. RA40TA is the appropriate product code. The Ranger bullet is the evolved black talon bullet and there have been 3 or 4 "generations" of this bullet over the years. The current stuff is referred to as T-Series. There is even some non-LEO loads in the Ranger line that can confuse people. All the boxes looks very similar and the only way to distinguish the good stuff is to check the product code. At the last gun show I went to, I saw boxes of T-Series (RA9T) being sold right alongside the older poorer performing stuff (RASXT) for the same price. Buyer beware. Check the product code.
