That should adjust the weight within a certain amount... if it does not adjust to what you want with that screw the trigger can be adjusted by a gunsmith... I usually charge $40 and that includes return mail... I only need the trigger assembly...
It's interesting that they sell this trigger with all the claims of being externally adjustable and then give no information on how to do it.
I just got a 700 XCR compact tactical and am having a lot of fun with the gun, but I do find the pull just a little hard. That being said, I'm not going to start messing with the trigger unless I'm sure of what I'm doing.
