40S&W AR Uppers? Can we get 'em?

Hey Gang...

I am sure that the topic has been broached a few times, but I couldn't really find anything...

Are we able to get the AR15 uppers chambered in 40S&W in Canada? If so, who is impoting them, and how much do they cost?

I have a few AR's, and LOTS of 40S&W ammo...I like the idea of the pistol calibre AR, but I like the 40 better than 9mm.

Any info would be great!

RRA announced their 40S&W uppers "officially" at the SHOT Show this year but have yet to begin shipping product. When I was at the factory two weeks ago it appears that they have everything ready, but they are still working on final production version of the magazine. They figure it's still a couple months away from being ready.

My guess is that we won't see any of these 40S&W (uppers or complete AR's) until early next year.

My guess is that there will be 10 rds if they start making LAR mags for .40....since RRA is marketing them as pistols, just like their 9mm. If there are no plans for LAR .40 mags you could always just get a Lone Wolf lower and run Glock 22 mags :D
