I recently made some major PF .40 S&W loads for my CZ Tactical Sport. Here is my recipe:
Xmetal 200gr projectiles
4.0gr of IMR Target powder
CCI Small Pistol Primer
O.A.L - 1.130"
Crimped just enough that a line can be seen on bullet when pulled.
I was averaging 880ish FPS which give a 175 Power Factor. There's very little smoke, this is my first time shooting major loads so I can't comment on muzzle flip, but didn't seem to much more than what I get on my 9mm polymer gun.
