41 Magnum ammunition available?

Hi Folks. i posted this under ammo but i thought it would be a good idea to post here as well. I'm looking for 41 magnum ammunition. Does anyone know a source?

Yikes, I wouldn't count on it. I have honestly never looked, my Bisley gets handloads, 100%. But even in the world of handloading things aren't reliable. One reason I took up casting was because while the availability of brass and dies for the .41 was surprisingly ready, bullets were more miss than hit.

I think you need to find a dealer who can order it for you, and buy it by the case.

I've found a few dusty old boxes of Winchester every now and then, but really, it seems to be a handloader's cartridge.

I picked up some from Prophet river, not cheap ammo.

Brass and bullets are more common.

If you want to shoot your .41 at a reasonable cost RELOAD.... I have reloaded this caliber for years, if you cast your own it works very cheap....

+1 for reloading. Even if you don't really want to get into a full blown setup you can get the minimum stuff you need for around $150. At that point you can reload for around 23 cents per round or 11.50 per box of 50. At that level of savings it sure doesn't take long to pay off the cost of the reloading setup and begin shooting for peanuts.

Just bought myself a nice vintage S&W model 57 target in 41 magnum, does anyone know where there is any new/old stock brass for sale?

I've found all mine on the EE. The only place I've seen it on the shelf in in Fargo, ND at Scheels

Double Tap sports sells the brass, but it's probably on back order.

I believe Berry's makes plated bullets for the .41 but not sure who sells them in Canada.

Last time I checked Custom Reloading and Marstar, I think, had them in stock
