'41 Podolsk SVT40

Just received this beauty and thought I would share with the CGN community. 1941 SVT40 Podolsk all original matching minus the mag of course. Stock is unsanded original finish. All parts that I can see are Podolsk arsenal marked except cleaning rod. Been looking for something like this for awhile

That has to be one of the nicest I've seen! I wonder if it's a vet bring back from the Arctic convoys or something like that. Not may around that original!

Very Nice Find! My 41 podolsk; the previous owner sanded and Tru-oiled the AVT stock. Sad every time I look at it.[h=2][/h]

Nice rifle! I have a 41 podolsk too but it is arsenal refinished with a couple of stock repairs to it. It has the wide oval too!

Can you tell us how you found it (without giving away any trade secrets, of course). Did you import it from the US?

It was in Canada and I was very lucky. I was quick to commit to buy it with not knowing %100 if it was in fact original with the pictures I was shown, but I was pretty confident it was. It was almost stressful waiting for it to arrive!
