Hi, I'm considering a project with the .416 caliber bullets

Looking for a couple specific dimensions to further the thought process
I need to know the resizer die id dimension in the neck area, it will be somewhere .441-.447, possibly using a machinist drill size to measure?
also wondering about the neck sizer button dia, something less than .416 but wondering what is used, what neck tension will look like

thanks i.a. for any help

OP,
Your neck dimensions are with in reason, assuming that said brass has a .015" wall thickness.

The expander button should provide .003" to .004" press fit of said projectile.

building a 416-350 magnum die from a 350 die, thinking a 7/16 .4375 reamer could used
then a Reding 16414 .416 sizer button in the resizer

result is a set for a short belted 416, ala 416 Express, but also to be used as a mid-step to form 350 mag brass from long mag brass
