I have a 375ruger and my hunting buddy has a 416.
They don’t tear up meat at all.
I’ve shot 235-300g bullets into deer and bear. My 30-06 tears the meat up worse.

800$ for a 416. Great buy.

I would have bought it as well, but I was also doing the math, for me the Hogue stock would have to go so add $400 or $500 or so for a new stock [Boyds or Bell and Carlson] minus maybe $100 for selling the Hogue, plus I already have a 416 re-barrell coming, was not too disappointed I missed it.

I sure didn’t need it lol and plus it was an ugly SS in a plastic stock, not quite my style, but for the price I would have bought it!

I thought they looked like a good deal , can’t recall seeing those type of rifles on here,so thought I’d mention them, just it case someone was interested.

The 416 comes with a box ammo, it says dangerous game series on the box.. lol
What would you use that for?
