does anyone know of any store that would be able to bring in some 416 Taylor ammo?
i believe the only company left that still makes the stuff is Norma, so it would have to be a store that deals with a distributor that brings in Norma ammo.

Yikes ! $160.00 + Tax for 25 Norma ! I have 40 Quality Brand 416 Taylor Brass for HUNTING loads and i Necked down Same Norma 458 Win Mag Brass for practice loads ! RJ

The Factory Norma 416 Taylor are Solids - FMJ only NO soft point hunting ammo !

im guessing that most people that shoot this odd ball load hand roll them, hence there being no factory stuff available.
leave it to my dad to pick up a 416 Taylor rifle!!!

looks like ill be doing up some load ladders this summer!

Run some 458 or 338 Win or 358 Norma through the Taylor dies and reload.

I use properly stamped Quality Cartridge brass for my 416 Taylor.
Special ordered it years ago when I was having my rifle built. Have enough to keep me going for awhile.

You can also neck up 338 Win Mag brass, or neck down 458 Win Mag brass.

It is a great round, and I am looking forward to harvesting bison with it. Hopefully use it for cape buffalo or brown bear someday!
At this time I am using medium loads with 350 gr Barnes TSX in mine that will produce 1/2" groups with manageable recoil. There is room for improvement to match 416 Rem or Rigby ballistics though.
