Does anyone make a "soft" bullet in 416? Theres a frame and nosler partition am i missing any others? I dont want to use barnes tsx. Ive read speer dropped the 350 hotcor

I havent heard to many positive reviews on the hornady dgx or dgs. Id love to go with woodlieghs but not sure about a steady supply. Tradeex is the only place i know that carries them

I just ordered and received some 350 gr speers like a few months ago, price was around a dollar a bullet so very reasonable to shoot..the partitions were more than double that!

Good to know. I read they were discontinued. Hopefully i read wrong.

When I shot 416 rem mag I used Nosler Partition. I think I still have a full box of 416 400g lying around....

I used to shoot 350 gr Speer Magtips in my Rigby over 102 grs of 4350. The velocity flirted with 2850, and accuracy was good out to a quarter mile, which was as far as I tried them.

Speer Hotcore Magnum Tip #2577 .416/350 gr is still listed on the web page store. The web page advises this bullet is available and I saw nothing about it being discontinued.

I shot a moose and a mule deer with the 350gr Speer MagTip, worked well (2550 fps 416rm) This projectile is still listed in the 2019 Speer listing, approx $62 per 50ct box

The speer is going to be your "economy" jacketed.
For ghits and siggles, hardcast. Have a kid shoot the "elephant" gun.

When gutting where someone might eat you, have a woodleigh or partition ready, if your worried the speer isnt enough.
