422 Pistol shoots left

Picked up a clean looking S&W 422 here on CGN, functions well, but it shoots way left. The rear sight is cranked to the right as far as it will go. The gunsmith cleaned it up and tightened it as best he could, but at 20 yards it is still 4 - 5 inches left.

Any suggestions?

Just a suggestion but check to see if the barrel is centered in the frame. I recall having a similar problem with my 2206 and corrected it by re-adjusting the barrel and the barrel nut.

I would talk to the guy you bought it from, since odds are he was well aware of the problem when he off loaded it to you. I can't stand people who use EE like a personal recycle bin. Otherwise, what he ^^ said.
