Email Rusty Wood Trading. I got a box of 200gn .427 sized bullets from him a while back. He doesn't list them though. And even though they came in a Bullet Barn box I don't see them listed on the BB site. Instead they are showing 44-40 as being .429. It's worth an email though.

Another option if you can locate it is a Lee push through sizer for .427. I got one a while back from Wholesale Sports. The plan was to use it for sizing .430 bullets down to suit the .44-40 loading needs. But I'm going to use up the box of .427's I've got first.

Bruce Martin at Carmicheal, Sask make 44-40 bullets and sells commercially under the trade name Cactus Plains Bullets, shipping lead from Sask will be considerably cheaper than the Bullet Barn (Sunshine Coast, B.C. ) product. I believe they both use the same casting equipment, the only difference I can see is they use a different type of lube ( never had a leading prob. with either one).
