44 day at the range.

Top Pic is a Ruger Superblackhawk wearing faux polymer ivory and S&W Model 29-2. First has a 4 5/8 barrel, latter has a 6.5 inch barrel. Both in 44 Magnum.

Bottom Pic, upper left hand corner is a couple S&W N frame snubbies, a 29-3 and 629-2, both with 3 inch barrel. Blued 29 wearing round butt finger groove grips, stainless 629 is wearon Pachmeyer Compacs, which really help with the recoil. Below those two is a Dan Wesson 44V. Very early version, 3 digit serial number. Has the dove Grey finish, wearing a 6 inch vented shroud non-ported barrel today. Lower RH corner is two more S&W 29-2's, with 4 inch barrels. Blued version wearing square butt combat grips, nickel version wearing presentation grips. Upper RH corner is a couple 22's to help work out the flinch after a few dozen 44 mag loads. - dan

Great collection. The N-frame magnum is definitely my favourite revolver. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite variant but those 3" and 4" N-frames are beauties.

I'm a big fan of the 4 5/8" SBHs too. I ended up putting a larger grip frame on mine. It is a great shooter.

I had a DW 744 briefly but traded it before even shooting it. Another regretful decision... lol

I was lucky enough to pick up a mint 29-2 like yours (6.5 inch barrel) just before the ban. Crazy deal, couldn't pass.
Such a smooth action, maybe smoother than my 586, which is pretty damn smooth! Great guns.
