I purchased a slightly used Mark XIX off of a fellow nutter a short while ago and haven't had a chance to shoot it, so today I snuck away and was able to blast off a few rounds (20) and I must say, I owned a 44 in the all to common black hawk and it sure walloped, this sucker is so much fun it had me chuckling the entire time! well after the heavily anticipated first shot any way, and I must say the weight sure reacts positively with the recoil of the 44 it is a very cool and HUGE shooter!! loads of fun, now I think I will get me a 50 for it and see how that is??? one buddy from work told me he thought the 44 had a bigger wallop than the 50 round or at least felt recoil?? any body wanna chime in who has shot both? it seems only logical the 50 would punch you harder but having never shot that round I don't know??
