thanks for any info

The 44 Henry was a rimfire.
If it is a CF probably 44 or 442 Webley. Same ctg different name in US and UK respectively.

44 henry existed as a rimfire and a centerfire. You can find 1860 henrys and 1866 winchesters with a double fireing pin.

If youre using black powder decide where you want your bullet seated and measure how far down the inside of the case it will be and fill it to there with black powder. You can compress it a little too you just cant have any air space between bullet and powder.

Just checking on this, you may be able to direct me to where you found this. Everything I read about the 1860 Henry rifle, they were all made for the .44 Henry Rimfire, but the Winchester Model 1866 was made in .44 Henry Rimfire until the 44-40 or 44WCF came out and then was made for that cartridge, I have not found any info that they had dual firing pins
