Working on turning some 44 Mag brass down for the 44 Webley. I know the S&B primer pockets are tight so I have the primer reamer out to clean up those primer pockets when the S&B cases show up.
Some of the cases do not fit the reamer, hmm, so I grabbed the vernier and they have an ID of 0.178in. The other S&B cases come in at 0.210, some need a clean up but not all.
Has anyone else noticed this? Are these just small pockets for weird primers or are they for small pistol primers?
I have enough Winchester brass to replace all the weird ones but I found this very odd.
