Did some groups at the range at 50 and 200 yards, at 125 metres it should be a perfectly adequate rifle to take a deer... JP. http://youtube.com/user/57caramel1

 

[Wrong Way]

Ive taken both bears and deer at those ranges using my 99/44 and plain Jane 240 JSP's. If my semi will group 1.5" @ 100 and smack game, I'd think you could push your bolt out even further. Add great ammo like leverevolution and I'd think 175-200 is reasonable.

If you look at the video, i can group 4.5 to 5 inch@ 200 yards, still good because a 270 gr still have the torque at that distance... JP. http://youtube.com/user/57caramel1
