I've found some info on here regarding this topic but I still have some questions or misgivings.
This is for my Rossi ranch hand.
I've cut the neck off of some. 303 British brass and annealled the top 3/4. They are 1.75 in. long at present.
I want to fire form them with a light load and cornmeal and have bullseye on hand. What would be a safe load or procedure for this?
If this is doable and won't harm the throat of my chamber, I would like to load them with the wad and shot cup from some .410 shot shells and cap with a wad and glue.
The info I've gleaned here so far is that some guys have done similar with success but those posts are quite old.20261012_111118.jpg

well I've fired 303 out of my 44mag, but its a rebarrled lee-enfield. worked ok with full house 303 rounds. I would not recommend it.

if you get some round ball .310" and load it up with a mild load, that would be safer, but you need enough to blow out the case.
