It's a Smith & Wesson 1854 Stealth Hunter. Really pleased with it. Originally wanted the Ruger Marlin Dark, but couldn't find one. The bonus here is that with the money saved, I was able to put in a Timney trigger (very nice trigger for a lever gun), the Ranger Point Precision butt, ammo quiver, safety delete, lever take down screw, muzzle brake and the lower tension loading gate. Ended up still being a hundred or so to the good, and frankly, I don't think you're giving up anything with this new Smith and Wesson compared to the Marlin. Very very good quality. What make/model is that lever gun?

Must be some big groundhogs ha haI have one of these but the original .44mag carbine. Bought it back in the middle 90's for $450.00 Works great for eliminating groundhogs. Can only use jacketed bullets in them as lead bullets will quickly foul the gas operating system.
Some of them are quite big. The well fed ones get really fat lol Groundhogs here are much bigger than prarie dogs.Must be some big groundhogs ha ha
