44 Russian Double Action Hammer Repair

Hello,

As the pictures suggest, I need to repair the hammer for my 44 Russian revolver. I would like to ask anyone with an in-tact hammer to share pictures along with dimensions. If you have parts I would also be interested in that.

How did that happen? Dry firing and the old firing pin snapped off, or did you acquire it like that?
Genuinely curious because I've been looking at these 44 russians

Appleorangefish, This is how I acquired it. If I remember correctly, one the the original owners did it when it was willed to her child son by her late father. She didn't want him playing with a live firearm so she deactivated it.

The most important dimension I would like to know is how far the firing pin extends past the firing pin hole in the frame, how far it pokes into the chamber area.

I have one in my hand. The firing pin is 1/2" long from the base.
