I would bet money they won't.

The jury is still out on when/if Marlin will start producing the normal 444 model again. Winchester has been producing some "guide type" models in 450 Marlin.

The 444P models, dubbed "Outfitter" were all ported. That was the purpose of the "P" designation.

Same goes for the short run 1894P in 44 mag, dubbed "Prospector".

saw pedersoli makes a 444, but quite pricey and strangely they retained the older 1:38 twist.
