Lee also makes 45-60 dies, as does RCBS & 4D, Lee being the least expensive. Sizing to .456 or .457 may be too small for some rifles, my 45-60 Whitney Kennedy likes them at .460 or .461, but the new Uberty 1876's probabley like them the same size as their 45-70's. Brass is easy from 45-70 cases. I spun mine in an electic drill against a belt sander to get them close to 1.87", then finished them off using a Lee 45-70 case trimmer that I modified to get the proper length. 330 gr. lyman #457122 works good. Keep your loads mild, none of the actions for his cartidge are verry strong, but the Uberty's can handle a bit more than the originals.
