Has anyone tried these in the really cold -30 -40. I put one outside to see how hard the point would get, itseems to be harder than a lead soft point bullet as far as tring to deform it. Are they a warm weather bullet?

I've never had any issue with mine besides I find they're a little stiffer to chamber than standard ammo I find (takes a little bit more force on the lever, but mind you my Marlin has fewer than 40 or 50 rounds through it). I've tried Remington 405 gr and Federal 325 gr ammo and since I can get the Hornady ammo for the same price that's all I use. LR
