45 ACP Ammo "What to use"

hello everyone
i am in progress of getting a Colt mkIV with compensator.45acp.
what type of ammo should i use and where to get it at the best price.
i am in kitchener ontario.

45ACP ammo

Try Winchester "Winclean" 230 gr. FMJ. Uses a small pistol primer. I have been told that all .45 ACP ammo will use the small size primer in the near future. In B,C. a box costs $20 for fifty rounds. Loading your own currently costs around$9.25 a box.

If by compensator you mean race gun , you will want to load your own ammo . It will need to be tuned to the gun to get anything out of the comp .
