I shot about 300 of my standard handloads through 2 different 45s,and had 2 rounds jam the action of 1 pistol. When I managed to get the action open and extract the offending round, the primer had backed out of its pocket(unfired round in the chamber). There should not be a pressure issue, these are not real hot loads and they are robust pistols.
My guess was loose primer pockets,ie,time to discard.I presumed that the offending rounds reacted to the recoil of previous rounds.Any other ideas?

Thanks.

If the primer has backed out before the round has gone off then yes, it's time for some new brass.

depends? do you chamber check your ammo after loading? do you check for high primers? if not then it could just be not seating the primers deep enough when reloading.

Thanks for your thoughts, men.I am going to go with loose primer pockets=discard.
I could have had a slightly high primer slip by,but not as backed out as these 2.
