- Sometimes, nice folks leave them on the grass for others to harvest. It's a Blanche Dubois rely-on-the-kindness-of-strangers thing. But, getting rare as hen's teeth, .45 ACP casings are. Not like .40 or 9mm.

I'd say $10/100 is a very fair price, and I'm sure you could get more if you were willing to sit on it for a bit.

The lesser know brands once fired go for $80 a 1000.
Win Fed RP go for $100 - $110 a 1000.

These days it might also depend on wether or not it's large primer or small...
I'll still take/keep small primer brass, but the large primer I wouldn't pay much for.

I have paid $135/1000 (shipping included) for 1xf LP sorted and tumbled 45 acp brass.

I wouldn't pay much more than that.
