The handgun being used is a Ruger Redhawk 4.2" in 45 ACP/45 Colt. My go to bullet for my 1911 is a Campro .451 200gr jacketed SWC. Being a duel calibre revolver, would it prefer a .451 over a .452 used in the 45 LC. Could I use my existing projectiles using a heavy taper crimp?

Yes, you can use them.

But it would be a good idea to find similar bullets in both diameters and see if the is a big performance (accuracy) difference.

Your revolver might have a clear preference.
