45 ACP Cast bullets - 1 or 2 grooves ??

Im about to order some cast bullets and dont really know what I want to order...

Im down to 200 gr swc - but my options are 1 or 2 grooves...

In intend to load with titegroup and CCI primers...

so, whats the difference between the 2 bullets ? the lyman site doesnt really go into any meaningful (to me) detail.

as Im buying a 1000 projectiles Id like to be sure and buy something I will be happy with...

There is really no difference in performance. If I were casting, I would choose a one groove design as I find that it is easier to cast good bullets with only one groove. But, there is absolutely nothing wrong with two groove designs either. It is simply a designer's choice, but one or two lube grooves will provide enough lube for a .45 ACP.
 
In this case the 2 groove is Lyman 452460 and the 1 groove is H&G #68, I like the Lyman as it appears to have more bearing surface.IMHO
 
I have casted thousands of bullets for the 45 acp they all are 200 SWC with a single lube grove for wax lube they have never been a problem.

All the cast bullets I make only have a single lube grove and they have all worked prefectly even the 44mag which is the fastest I have shot any cast bullets.

More lube is better for higher velocity I have not come across a pistol that actually needs the second grove.
