I use 4.2 grains of bullseye with a 200 grain cam pro bullet in my Norc.

Thanks for all the reply's . I usually load only .308, 30-30 . Have not loaded a whole lot of pistol ammo . Will have to order some powders you mentioned . Can't find anything local . And basspro like 5km from my house stopped carrying powders.

If you still have the Clays Universal, that is a good pistol powder. Just use more of it, until it cycles properly.

I see quite a few are using good old 700X. Over the years, I have used lots of 700X, in handgun, rifle and shotgun loads. Used to buy the stuff by the keg. I have gathered a boatload of various rifle powders over the years, with the good intentions of "working up a load" for my myriad of milsurp rifles. Best get my butt in gear before my number comes up!
