.45 ACP small primer?

all my blazer brass is small primer, I just sort them into 2 separate storage bins after I clean them, I load them exactly the same other than different primers. other than having to sort your brass I don't mind them at all.

Ditto on that. Identical powder loads.

They are very common at the range I go to because they sell Blazer Brass to anyone that rents their guns.

Wave of the future. They started appearing within the last decade, I think they first came out in Winchester lead-free police training ammo. Now all manufacturers are using them in more and more loads. Probably will complete replace large primer cases in US made .45 Auto within the next decade.

Just watch out for some of the Federal .45 NT (Non-toxic) in small primer, some are crimped and can be a pain in the ass to reload if you miss them.

About 80% of my .45ACP brass is small pistol primer. I just run and load them like I do large primed cases.
The nice part with a progressive press like using a Dillon 550 is that I never have to swap out parts. Do a batch of 9mm, quick change over to .45ACP and never have to mess with the primer assembly.
