Has anyone tried the .45 ammo? Description is vague and says they could be either bi-metal or copper plated bullets.
Does a magnet stick to this ammo? I might get a box to try and report back if no one else has. I will be moving to a
new range that may be less restrictive but in the meantime I have to live with my range restrictions.

Curious about this as well. Similar restrictions. The .45 also has me curious, as the taper leading to the casing rim seems a little short and steep. Concerned about FTE issues that may arise, if if it's all good.

Colby Shooting Club and probably others that don't want their backstops destroyed with steel jackets/cores.
They explicitly prohibit all MFS ammo. Here's a quote from their web site:

If a magnet sticks to the bullet (not the case) of your ammunition, it is steel jacketed and cannot be shot on the range, even though the bullet may look like copper.

What range has restrictions on handgun ammo

Thanks for the info. I would probably only shoot this stuff through a gun that I didn't really care about since steel jackets have been proven to eat away the inside of barrels.

This bimetal crap excuse my harsh opinion
Magnet DOES stick to the projectile
