45 auto headspace issue?

I'm new to load pistol and have noticed some what lighter primer strikes on my reloads over factory. No problem with function but kind of disconcerting.

Primers used Win LR pistol. If Win pistol primers are as soft as their rifle ones I would expect a more positive mark. New lymen dies used also.

Bullets are DRG cast 225 FN. So I'm belling on the generous side if anything could this be the culprit?

I set up the seat-er die to taper the bell back straight with the case wall but they would chamber but when extracting a live round they stick in the chamber hard. So turned die in 1/2 turn chambering is still sticky but now have a slight, I would say hair of a roll crimp. Should I care?

You do not want "ANY" roll crimp on 45 acp as they headspace on the case mouth! Seat your bullets out long enough to fit in your mag and get / use a taper crimp die . Only crimp enough to take the "bell" out of the case mouth. And with the barrel out of your gun you can use it as a case guage . If they drop in ( and the slug isn't sticking in the rifleing ) you should be set right.

Thanks I've been looking for a taper crimp die but was hoping to avoid it if possible because I'm doing these on a single stage.

Also in hind sight and after reexamining the lymen bell die, I think I'm over belling just a tad to much forcing me to over compensate on the seater.
